This morning, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled a limited-edition Uconn Huskies Welcome to Tampa Bobblehead. The officially licensed bobblehead celebrates the UConn Huskies women’s basketball team and its fans upcoming trip to Tampa for the 2025 NCAA Division I Final Four April 4th and 6th at Amalie Arena. The bobblehead features UConn mascot Jonathan the Husky. The special edition bobblehead is available exclusively from the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, an official licensee of the University of Connecticut.

  • The bobbleheads, which are expected to ship in October, are $40 each plus a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order.
  • Each bobblehead will be individually numbered to 2,025.
  • Standing on a circular beach-like base that reads β€œUConn Huskies” across the front, the Jonathan the Husky bobblehead is standing on the sand in front of the water while holding a basketball in one hand and a suitcase in the other with both adorned with the UConn Huskies logo. The base also features a sign that reads β€œWelcome to Tampa” along with an umbrella and a bobbling beach ball, all in UConn’s colors.
  • With a convincing 78-64 victory over top-seeded USC in the Elite Eight on Monday, March 31st at Spokane Arena in Spokane, Washington, second-seeded UConn advanced to the Final Four for the 16th time in 17 years and 24th overall in program history. The Huskies (35-3) will take on UCLA (34-2) in the national semifinals on Friday, April 4th at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. The winner will take on the winner between South Carolina and Texas for the national championship on Sunday, April 6th.
  • Under 40th-year coach Geno Auriemma, the Huskies will be going for their 12th national title, and the first since 2016. In the Elite Eight matchup, All-American Paige Bueckers paced the Huskies with 31 points and six assists. The presumptive No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming WNBA draft, Bueckers has led UConn to the Final Four each season she’s played for them. Sarah Strong added 22 points and 17 rebounds, while Kaitlyn Chen chipped in 15 points.
