Timber Rattlers: Danny Jansen, Lorenzo Cain among 11 bobblehead giveaways for 2019 By Shane Nyman

Remember that great photo of a young Danny Jansen, the Appleton native who now plays for the Toronto Blue Jays, with MLB All-Star Adam Jones, who back in the early ’00s was a Wisconsin Timber Rattler? 

That moment — which captured two future big league ball players together in Appleton — is the inspiration for one of the 11 bobbleheads that’ll be handed out during the 2019 season at Fox Cities Stadium in Grand Chute.

Other bobbleheads include current Milwaukee Brewers Lorenzo Cain, Zach Davies, Corbin Burnes and Freddy Peralta. Cain, Burnes and Peralta all played for the Rattlers early in their professional careers and Davies spent considerable time on injury rehab stints with the Rattlers last season.

The Cain bobblehead will be the all-fan giveaway for the Timber Rattlers’ home opener on April 6.
