This morning, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled a pair of officially licensed, limited-edition bobbleheads commemorating the Penn State Nittany Lions’ 2024 NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball National Championship. The bobbleheads feature Penn State’s mascot, The Nittany Lion, standing on the official 2024 Women’s Volleyball National Championship logo. These mark the first bobbleheads commemorating Penn State’s volleyball National Championships. The special edition bobbleheads are being produced by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, an official licensee of Penn State University.

- Each bobblehead will be individually numbered to only 2,024.
- The bobbleheads, which are available with the Nittany Lion wearing Penn State’s white or blue volleyball uniforms, are $40 each or $75 for the set of two plus an $8 flat-rate shipping charge per order.
- Proudly wearing a white or blue Penn State volleyball uniform while holding a volleyball with the Penn State logo, the Nittany Lion bobblehead is giving the No. 1 sign on a base featuring the official 2024 Women’s Volleyball National Championship logo.
- On Sunday, December 22nd, the Penn State women’s volleyball team captured its eighth national title in program history with a 25-23, 32-34, 25-20, 25-17 victory over Louisville in the NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Championship match in front of a record crowd of 21,860 fans at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
- The championship also had historical significance. With the four-set victory, Penn State coach Katie Schumacher-Cawley became the first female coach to claim the NCAA Division I volleyball title.
- The Big Ten Conference champion Nittany Lions (35-2) have now won eight straight appearances in the final since losing their first three. They also won championships in 1999, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2013, and 2014.
- All-American outside hitter Jess Mruzik finished with 29 kills and 14 digs in earning Most Outstanding Player honors. Mruzik was joined on the All-Championship Team by teammates Camryn Hannah and Gillian Grimes. “I’m so proud of this group, and the grit and the fight that they have,” Schumacher-Cawley said. “I’m so happy for the players, for Penn State, the alums, and for everyone that’s gone before us.”
