This morning, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled an officially licensed, limited-edition Brutus Buckeye Ohio State Flag Bobblehead. The bobblehead features Ohio State’s beloved mascot, Brutus Buckeye, waving an Ohio State flag on an Ohio Stadium football field base. Following a shocking loss to Michigan in the regular season finale that resulted in post-game altercation after Michigan players planted a Michigan flag at midfield of Ohio Stadium, the Buckeyes won four consecutive games in the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff to win the 2024 National Championship and give the Buckeyes and its fans the last laugh.

The new release follows last week’s releases of bobbleheads commemorating the 2024 College Football Playoff National Championship. The special edition bobbleheads are being produced by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, an official licensee of The Ohio State University.

  • The flag-waving Brutus Buckeye bobbleheads, which are expected to ship in July, are now available at this link.
  • Each bobblehead will be individually numbered to only 2,025.
  • The bobbleheads are $40 each plus an $8 flat-rate shipping charge per order.
  • Proudly wearing his striped scarlet and gray sweater while holding a giant flag with the Ohio State logo, the Brutus Buckeye bobblehead is in a running pose on a football field base with “OHIO STATE” in one end zone, “BUCKEYES” in the other end zone, and the Ohio State logo at midfield. The front of the base reads “OHIO STATE BUCKEYES” across the front.
  • On November 30th, 2024, the Michigan Wolverines planted their Block M flag at midfield at Ohio Stadium after their 13-10 victory over the Buckeyes. The celebration led to a brawl between players from both teams. The Buckeyes would get the last laugh, however, as they won the next four games in the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff, culminating in the program’s ninth national championship.
  • The title marked the ninth national championship in program history and the first since 2014 for the Buckeyes, who made their sixth CFP appearance this season. In the first expanded 12-team College Football Playoff, the Buckeyes outscored their four postseason opponents by a combined score of 145-75.
  • In the National Championship Game against Notre Dame, Ohio State built a 31-7 lead midway through the third quarter as Offensive MVP Will Howard threw a pair of TD passes. His 56-yard completion to Jeremiah Smith led to a game-clinching field goal by Jayden Fielding after Notre Dame cut the deficit to 31-23. Quinshon Judkins rushed for 100 yards and scored three TDs (two rushing). Linebacker Cody Simon was named the game’s Defensive MVP. “There was a point where there were a lot of people who counted us out and we just kept swinging and kept fighting,” Ohio State coach Ryan Day said on the field after the game. “It’s the reason why you get into coaching …see guys overcome things, learn life lessons, and reach their dreams. That’s what happened tonight.”
  • “We know fans are going to love this bobblehead featuring Brutus Buckeye with the Ohio State flag,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said. “This season was one of the most memorable in Ohio State history given the epic rebound from one of the most difficult loses to four of the biggest wins. This bobblehead and the other National Championship bobbleheads will be must-haves for Ohio State fans, alumni, students, faculty, and staff and will become cherished collectibles that are passed down to future generations of Ohio State fans!”
  • The new bobblehead is the latest commemorating the Buckeyes’ 2024 College Football Playoff National Championship season. Last week, the Hall of Fame and Museum released a 2024 CFP National Champions Brutus Buckeye Bobblehead and the Bobble Logo, an interactive Championship Counter Bobblehead, a 9-Time National Champions Scoreboard Bobblehead, a National Champions Bobblehead Ornament, and a National Champions Mini Bobblehead.
  • In addition, a Brutus Buckeye Welcome to Atlanta Bobblehead was released leading up to Ohio State’s appearance in the national championship game.
  • The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, which is located at 170 S. 1st. St. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, opened to the public on February 1st, 2019. The HOF and Museum also produces high quality, customized bobbleheads for retail sale as well as organizations, individuals, and teams across the country.
