New β€˜Home Alone’ Merch Hits In Time For the Holidays By Christopher Ruvo

The Kenosha Kickers are about to get bigger in a lot more places than Sheboygan. That’s because bandleader and self-proclaimed Polka King of the Midwest Gus Polinski has, at long last, been immortalized in bobblehead form. Behold:
Now, those first few lines are only going to make sense if you’re a Home Alone fan. Chances are that you probably dig the flick. Released in 1990, Home Alone is the highest-grossing Christmas film of all-time and continues to be a staple in the pantheon of annual must-watch holiday movies.
So, you’ll know then that Gus leads the fictional polka band that gives lead character Kevin McCallister’s mom a ride from Scranton to Chicago to reunite with Kevin on Christmas Day. The late great John Candy played Gus, whose relatively few lines didn’t stop him from being a much-loved scene-stealer in the movie.
Wonderfully for fans like us, there are other Home Alonebobbleheads available, too. They include Kevin and the burgling β€œWet Bandits” duo of Harry & Marv. β€œHome Alone is my favorite movie, and creating bobbleheads of the characters has always been high on our priority list,” Phil Sklar, co-founder and CEO of the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, told the Sheboygan Press.
Beyond the bobbles, Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products is teaming up with various licensing partners to bring a wealth of smile-sparking Home Alone products to the market this holiday season. Check some examples below – and make sure to count your kids!!
