This morning, to celebrate the NDSU Bison’s 10th Football National Championship and National Bobblehead Day, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled a series of three officially licensed, limited-edition NDSU Bison Football National Champions Bobbleheads featuring NDSU’s mascot, Thundar. On Monday night, the NDSU Bison defeated the Montana State Bobcats 35-32 in a thrilling National Championship Game in Frisco, Texas, to capture the 2024 FCS National Championship.
The limited-edition bobbleheads are being released in conjunction with National Bobblehead Day, which is celebrated annually on January 7th. The Museum is celebrating with dozens of new bobblehead releases including these new bobbleheads commemorating NDSU’s 10th FCS National Championship.

- Each bobblehead will be individually numbered to only 2,025.
- The bobbleheads are $40 each or $115 for the set of three plus an $8 flat-rate shipping charge per order.
- The bobbleheads feature NDSU’s mascot, Thundar, in the Bison’s three football jerseys. The first two bobbleheads feature Thundar standing on the official 2024 FCS National Champions logo and holding up all 10 fingers to celebrate NDSU’s 10 titles. The third bobblehead is a Championship Counter that features blocks that fans will be able to change each time NDSU wins a title.
- The special edition bobbleheads are officially licensed by North Dakota State University and are being produced by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum.
- On Monday, January 6th, the second-seeded NDSU Bison defeated the top-seeded Montana Bobcats by a score of 35-32 in a thrilling National Championship Game in Frisco, Texas.
- The win over the previously undefeated Montana State team earned NDSU the 10th title in program history, which adds to their existing FCS record total.
