This morning, in conjunction with the 2024-25 college basketball season, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled a first-of-its-kind Marquette Golden Eagles Top 25 Ranking Tracker Bobblehead. Marquette is currently ranked #15 in the AP Top 25 and #15 in the Coaches Poll. Marquette has gotten off to a 5-0 start and is headed to the Bahamas to take on Georgia on Saturday, November 23rd.

The unique bobblehead will let fans change the teamโ€™s ranking each week for many years to come. The officially licensed bobbleheads are being produced by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, an official licensee of Marquette University.

  • Released in conjunction with the 2024-25 college basketball season, the bobbleheads are now available in the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museumโ€™s Online Store at this link.
  • The bobbleheads, which are expected to ship in April, are $40 each plus a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order.
  • Each will be individually numbered to 2,024.
  • Standing on a basketball court base, the Iggy the Golden Eagle bobblehead is positioned on a numbered block that can be adjusted when Marquetteโ€™s ranking changes. Iggy is also holding a basketball with the Marquette Golden Eaglesโ€™ logo.
  • Formerly known as the Warriors, Marquetteโ€™s nickname change to Golden Eagles came in May 1994 to address the schoolโ€™s Native American name controversy. Iggy was introduced as the name of Marquetteโ€™s golden eagle mascot in August 2020. He is named after St. Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Society of Jesus. โ€œThe name Iggy had come up multiple times over the last few years and the departmentโ€™s leadership felt like it was a great fit, tying in St. Ignatius and the universityโ€™s Jesuit tradition,โ€ Senior Associate Athletic Director for Communications Scott Kuykendall said at the time.
