This morning, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled limited-edition Houston Cougars Welcome to San Antonio Bobbleheads. The officially licensed bobbleheads celebrate the Houston Cougars men’s basketball team and its fans upcoming trip to San Antonio for the 2025 NCAA Division I Final Four at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas on April 5th and 7th. The bobbleheads feature Houston’s mascots Shasta and Sasha. The special edition bobbleheads are available exclusively from the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, an official licensee of the University of Houston.

  • The bobbleheads, which are expected to ship in October, are $40 each plus a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order.
  • Each bobblehead will be individually numbered to 2,025.
  • Standing on a circular base that is a replica of the famed San Antonio River Walk and reads β€œHouston Cougars” across the front, the Shasta and Sasha bobbleheads are standing on the River Walk with a bobbling boat floating down the river and a replica of The Alamo behind them. The mascots are holding a basketball in one hand and a suitcase in the other with both adorned with the Houston Cougars logo. The base also features a sign that reads β€œWelcome to San Antonio” in Houston’s colors.
  • With a convincing 69-50 victory over second-seeded Tennessee in the Elite Eight on Sunday, March 30th at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, top-seeded Houston advanced to the Final Four for the seventh time in program history. The Cougars (34-4) will take on Duke (35-3) in the national semifinals on Saturday, April 5th at the Alamodome in San Antonio. The winner will take on the winner between Florida and Auburn for the National Championship on Monday, April 7th.
  • Houston advanced to the Final Four for the second time in five years under 11th-year coach Kelvin Sampson. In the Elite Eight, Houston relied on a relentless defense and jumped out to a 34-15 halftime lead. Senior L.J. Cryer scored 17 points and junior Emanuel Sharp scored 14 of his 16 points in the second half as the Cougars won their 17th game in a row. Sharp was named the Midwest Region’s Most Outstanding Player. Cryer and junior Milos Uzan joined Sharp on the All-Region team.
