Get aΒ βStar Warsβ bobblehead at the Gwinnett Stripers game Saturday ByΒ Amanda C. Coyne
ThisΒ isΒ the game youβre looking for: Itβs βStar Warsβ night at Coolray Field on Saturday.
The Gwinnett Stripers will give away aΒ βStar Warsβ-themed bobblehead of Atlanta Braves player Ozzie Albies. Albies played at Coolray Field for two months before being promoted to the Atlanta Braves; the Stripers were also known as the Braves until this season.
The bouncing toy version of the second-baseman wears a white shirt, black vest and belt similar to that of Han Solo, portrayed by Harrison Ford in the original threeΒ βStar Warsβ movies. The first 2,500 fans in attendance Saturday, May 12 will get to take home a bobblehead.
While supplies of the bobbleheads are limited, everyone can enjoy a free fireworks show at the end of the game against the Norfolk Tides. The game begins at 6:05 p.m., andΒ tickets are still availableΒ for as little as $8.
