First West Virginia State Bobblehead Unveiled for New School Year

This morning, to celebrate the new school year, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled an officially licensed West Virginia State Yellowjackets Bobblehead featuring West Virginia State’s mascot, Stinger. The WVSU Bobblehead joins dozens of other new college bobbleheads that we’re unveiling throughout the month of September to celebrate the new school year, and we’re excited to have West Virginia State included. The officially licensed bobbleheads were produced by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, an official licensee of West Virginia State University.

• The bobbleheads are now available in the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s Online Store at this link and the West Virginia State University Bookstore.
• The bobbleheads, which recently arrived and ship now, are $35 each plus a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order.
• Each bobblehead is individually numbered to 2,024.
• Standing on a base that reads “Yellow Jackets” across the front with a backing featuring the West Virginia State logo, the Stinger bobblehead features the mascot waving while wearing a No. 91 football jersey.
• West Virginia State University, located in Institute, West Virginia, has been represented for decades by Stinger the yellow jacket. The bobblehead is the newest in our HBCU Bobblehead Collection which features the first bobblehead for over 30 Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

• The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, which is located at 170 S. 1st. St. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, opened to the public on February 1st, 2019.
