First bobbleheadfeaturing Lakers top draft pick, Lonzo Ball, now available for preorder.
MILWAUKEE, Wi.,October 19, 2017 –This morning, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museummade the first Lonzo Ball Bobblehead available for sale. The bobblehead commemorates Lonzo Ball’s selection as the 2ndd overall pick of the 2017 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers. Ball will make his NBA debut tonight when the Lakers host the Los Angeles Clippers.
Before being selected with the second pick, Ball played college basketball for one season with the UCLA Bruins, where he earned consensus first-team All-American honors. In his year at UCLA, Ball led the nation in assists and broke the school record for most assists in a season. He also won the Wayman Tisdale Award as the top freshman in the nation.
Draft Day bobbleheads have been produced for nearly ten years to commemorate some of the top draft picks. This year, bobbleheads of Lonzo Ball and Markelle Fultz, the first overall pick by the Philadelphia 76ers, have been produced so far.
“Lakers and Bruins fans and other that have been fans on Lonzo will be excited to get their hands on his first bobblehead,” said Phil Sklar, Co-Founder and CEO of the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum. “If he goes on to have a great career, the Draft Day bobbleheads will be a great collector’s item.”
Thelimited edition bobbleheads are expected to arrive in November. The bobbleheads are $35 eachwith a flat rate shipping charge of $8 per order.The bobbleheads were producedby the Forever Collectibles and are officially licensed.
