Donald Trump “Fight” and Ear Bandage Bobbleheads Unveiled

MILWAUKEE – This morning, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled limited-edition bobbleheads featuring Donald Trump’s iconic “Fight” pose after surviving the assassination attempt on Saturday, July 13th and the subsequent images of Trump wearing the ear bandage at last week’s Republican National Convention. Following a flood of requests for bobbleheads featuring these two iconic moments, the Hall of Fame and Museum is making both bobbleheads available for pre-order. The special edition bobbleheads are being produced by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum.

The first bobblehead features former President Donald Trump with blood on his ear and face with his fist raised standing on a red, white, and blue circular base bearing his name. The bobblehead replicates the iconic moment when the Republican presidential candidate pumped his fist defiantly to the crowd in the seconds after surviving an assassination attempt during his campaign rally on Saturday, July 13th in Butler, Pennsylvania. The second bobblehead features former President Donald Trump wearing a bandage over his right ear. Former President Trump made his first appearance at the 2024 Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, just two days after the assassination attempt wearing a bandage over his right ear, which became a fashion accessory that convention attendees quickly copied.

The bobbleheads, which will be individually numbered, are only available through the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s Online Store. The bobbleheads are expected to ship in December and are $30 each plus a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order.

On Saturday, July 13th, former President Trump was just minutes into his speech during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania – a key state in the November 5th election – when shots from a nearby rooftop rang out, hitting his right ear and leaving him bloodied. Trump quickly dropped to the ground and was surrounded by Secret Service agents. When he got to his feet, Trump pumped his fist to the crowd and shouted “Fight! Fight! Fight!” with blood streaming down his face before being rushed off the stage. The attack on Trump was the most serious attempt to assassinate a president or presidential candidate since Ronald Reagan was shot in 1981. After being checked out at a local medical facility, Trump’s campaign issued a statement saying that he was “fine.” In a post later that night on his social media network, Trump wrote that he was “shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part” of his right ear. The shooting killed an innocent rally attendee, 50-year-old firefighter Corey Comperatore, who was a spectator in the stands. Two others were seriously wounded.

In the days that followed, it was revealed that only a last-second turn of his head kept Trump from potentially being mortally wounded. On Monday, July 15th, the Republican Party officially nominated Trump to be its 2024 presidential nominee, marking the third time since 2016 that Trump has been nominated. Wearing a bandage over his right ear, Trump made a surprise appearance at first night of the Republican National Convention. He formally accepted the nomination in a speech at the Republican National Convention on Thursday, July 18th at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.
