To commemorate Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper on “The Day the Music Died”, we released their first bobbleheads this morning. Ritchie Valens’ hit songs “Donna” and “La Bamba” and J.P. “The Big Bopper” Richardson’s hit song “Chantilly Lace” were released six months before they tragically died in a plane crash along with fellow musician Buddy Holly on February 3rd, 1959, in Clear Lake, Iowa.
