This morning, to celebrate March Madness and the 2025 NCAA Tournament, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled an officially licensed Bryant Bulldogs Bobblehead featuring Bryant’s costumed mascot, Tupper. The new bobblehead joins the previously released bobblehead featuring Bryant’s live bulldog mascot, Tupper II. This evening, the Bryant Bulldogs will take on the Michigan State Spartans in the 2025 Men’s Basketball NCAA Tournament. The limited edition bobbleheads are being produced by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, an official licensee of Bryant University.
- The bobbleheads are now available in the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s Online Store at this link.
- The bobbleheads, which are expected to ship in September, are $35 each plus a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order.
- Each bobblehead is individually numbered to 2,025.
- Standing on a base with Bryant’s colors and a backing featuring the Bryant logo, the Tupper Bobblehead is wearing a Bryant jersey and making the number 1 sign.
- Tupper was named in recognition of Tupperware Corporation President Earl Tupper, who dedicated the land for Bryant’s Smithfield campus in 1967. Ironclad Tupper I, or Tupper for short, was the first live bulldog mascot in school history and received an honorary degree and 2010 commencement for “character and obedience.” He died on December 6th, 2017. Tupper II was introduced to the university community on April 12th, 2018.
- The 15th seeded Brytant Bulldogs will take on the 2nd seeded Michigan State Spartans at 10pm Eastern Time in Cleveland, Ohio, with the winner going on to face either Marquette or New Mexico on Sunday.
- “We’re excited to unveil this Bryant Bulldogs bobblehead in conjunction with March Madness and the 2025 NCAA Tournament,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said. “These bobbleheads are the perfect way for Bryant fans, alumni, students, faculty, and staff to show off their school pride!”
