This morning, to celebrate the start of the 2024-25 school year, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled the first Bryant University Bobblehead featuring Bryantโ€™s mascot Tupper II. The fall semester for Bryant began earlier this week on Tuesday, September 3rd as students, faculty and staff returned to campus for the new school year. Over the next two weeks, we are unveiling our back-to-school bobblehead collection, and weโ€™re excited to have Bryant included. The officially licensed bobbleheads are being produced by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, an official licensee of Bryant University.

  • The bobbleheads are now available in the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museumโ€™s Online Store at this link.
  • The bobbleheads, which are expected to ship in September, are $30 each plus a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order.
  • Each bobblehead is individually numbered to 2,024.
  • Standing on a Bryant University logo base that reads โ€œTupper IIโ€ across the front, the bobblehead of Tupper is wearing his Bryant harness with his name on the front.
  • Bryant University, located in Smithfield, Rhode Island, started out as a member of the NAIA, then NCAA Division II, and became a full Division I member in 2012. Previously known as the Indians, Bryant switched to the Bulldogs after a campus-wide vote in 1995. Bryant has a live mascot and costumed mascot to represent the university.
  • Tupper was named in recognition of Tupperware Corporation President Earl Tupper, who dedicated the land for Bryantโ€™s Smithfield campus in 1967. Ironclad Tupper I, or Tupper for short, was the first live bulldog mascot in school history and received an honorary degree and 2010 commencement for โ€œcharacter and obedience.โ€ He died on December 6th, 2017. Tupper II was introduced to the university community on April 12th, 2018.
  • Classes began for the 2024 fall semester at Bryant University earlier this week on Tuesday, September 3rd.
  • “Weโ€™re excited to unveil this new Bryant Bulldogs Bobblehead featuring Tupper II in conjunction with the start of the new school year,โ€ National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said. โ€œThis bobblehead will be the perfect way for Bryant fans, alumni, students, faculty, and staff to show off their school pride!โ€
  • The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, which is located at 170 S. 1st. St. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, opened to the public on February 1st, 2019. The HOF and Museum also produces high quality, customized bobbleheads for retail sale as well as organizations, individuals, and teams across the country.
