First UNC Asheville Rocky the Bulldog Bobblehead Unveiled for Back-to-School

This morning, to celebrate the start of the 2024-25 school year, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled an the first UNC Asheville Rocky the Bulldog Bobblehead. Over the next two weeks, we are unveiling our back-to-school bobblehead collection, and we’re excited to have UNC Asheville included. The officially licensed bobbleheads are being produced by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, an official licensee of UNC Asheville.

• The bobbleheads, which are the first of UNC Asheville’s mascot, are now available in the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s Online Store at this link.
• The bobbleheads, which just arrived and ship now, are $35 each plus a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order.
• Each bobblehead is individually numbered to 2,024.
• Standing on a base that reads “Bulldogs” across the front with a backing featuring UNC Asheville’s logo, the Rocky the Bulldog Bobblehead is making the #1 sign with his right hand while wearing a UNC Asheville jersey.

• The bulldog has been the UNC Asheville mascot since the 1930s. Rocky is the fearless mascot of UNC Asheville Athletics. His likes include all forms of athletic competition, as well as the Asheville lifestyle. His dislikes include Eagles, Panthers, Catamounts and rival Bulldogs. When he’s not stomping around at games or strutting around campus, Rocky spends his time visiting campus events like Rockypalooza, Homecoming and Parents’ Weekend. He also visits local elementary schools to meet and greet future Bulldogs.
