Vegas Golden Knights celebrating Nevada Day with early game By KTNV Staff

The Vegas Golden Knights will celebrate Nevada Day this Friday, Oct. 26, with a 3 p.m. matinee game against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

To help make the Nevada Day game experience unique, the Golden Knights will wear their white road jerseys on home ice and are asking fans to do the same.

Nevada Day is a state-recognized public holiday celebrated on the final Friday of October every year to recognize the state’s admission to the Union.

All fans in attendance will receive a Deryk Engelland bobblehead presented by City National Bank upon entry to the building.

Limited tickets to Friday’s game are still available. Fans can purchase tickets by clicking here .

On Toshiba Plaza before the game, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority Host Committee will welcome fans with Las Vegas Showgirls photo opportunities, as well as light up sticks for the first 4,000 fans to visit their display. SilverSummit Healthplan will host a children’s area on the plaza where young fans can play games before entering the arena.

In addition to Friday, the Golden Knights will also wear white road jerseys Friday, Nov. 23, against the Calgary Flames and Sunday, Dec. 23, against the Los Angeles Kings.
