First Bobblehead Featuring Georgia’s Uga Unveiled

Limited Edition bobblehead featuring Georgia’s Uga X is now available exclusively from the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum.
MILWAUKEE, Wi., October 19, 2018 – This morning, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled an officially licensed, limited-edition bobblehead featuring University of Georgia live mascot, Uga X.  The bobblehead features Uga X wearing his Georgia shirt while sitting next to his dog house in front of Georgia’s famed hedges. This marks the first bobblehead featuring Uga.
The limited edition bobbleheads, which are individually numbered to only 1,000, just arrived and ship now. The bobbleheads, which were produced exclusively for the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, are $40 each with a flat rate shipping charge of $8 per order.
Dubbed “Que”, Uga X has been Georgia’s mascot since 2015 and is the 10^th bulldog mascot in the team’s history. While he is the first of the bulldogs to be honored with a bobblehead, the dogs have quite a history with the University. Que replaced ‘Russ’ or Uga IX, who had a 44-19 record as the university’s mascot. The duo represents two of the 10 live mascots in the current lineage dating all the way back to 1955. The Bulldogs have a history of live mascots dating back to 1892 when a goat was the first mascot for their first football game against Auburn.
“Uga is a beloved member of the Georgia community, and we were surprised when we did some research and learned that there had never been a bobblehead of Uga X or any of his predecessors,” said Phil Sklar, Co-Founder and CEO of the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum. “Georgia’s tremendous history and this lineage of bulldogs has been so important to the university and its students, faculty, staff and alumni over the years, making this bobblehead a must-have for any Georgia fan.”
