Miami Hurricanes’ Turnover Chain now has its own bobblehead By David Selig
he Miami Hurricanes’ Turnover Chain has its own song, it’s been replicated on countless T-shirts, and now the most viral jewelry in college football history has its own bobblehead doll.
The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled Friday a new figurine that features the University of Miami’s mascot, Sebastian the Ibis, tossing up β€œThe U” hand sign and wearing the chain that added so much shine to the Hurricanes’ 2017 season.
The limited-edition bobbleheads, manufactured by the company FOCO, are being sold online and cost $40, plus a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order.
β€œThe Turnover Chain was one of the best stories in college football this past season, and it truly inspired a lot of players and energized Miami’s fan base,” said Phil Sklar, co-founder and CEO of the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum.

The Turnover Chain itself β€” in all its 10-karat gold glory β€” is expected to return for the 2018 season, continuing its tradition of being awarded to any UM player who forces a turnover in a game.
