Dale Earnhardt Jr. – at least his likeness – honored by a hall of fame By Jim Utter
Dale Earnhardt Jr. – or at least a likeness of him – has already been honored by one Hall of Fame.
The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled a limited-edition bobblehead on Tuesday to commemorate the career of NASCAR’s most popular driver.
Earnhardt, who announced his retirement from full-time NASCAR competition in April, ran his final Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race in November at Homestead, Fla. He has won the sport’s Most Popular Driver Award a record 15 consecutive times.
“We’re extremely excited to release our first exclusive NASCAR bobblehead featuring one of racings biggest legends,” said Phil Sklar, Co-Founder and CEO of the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum.
“Given Dale Jr.’s popularity and the holiday shopping season, we don’t expect these to last long.”
